Environmental and social safeguard document: Emergency Support for Women and Affected Communities (ESWAC) in Sudan

The Emergency Support for Women and Affected Communities project (ESWAC) aims at addressing emergency needs and strengthening resilience of conflict-affected communities in Sudan. ICRC interventions under ESWAC include activities to enhance agricultural productivity, livelihoods and water infrastructure rehabilitation as well as access to health services. ESWAC will also contribute to conflict prevention through capacity strengthening, policy dialogue and support to International Humanitarian Law.
